Hey I'm looking for two for March 2nd in DC if anyone has extra. It's near my birthday and you'd make me very happy.

Spanish johnny drove in from the underworld last night with bruised arms and broken rhythm and a beat-up old buick but dressed just like dynamite.

Dying to go to tomorrows Boston show. If anyone has an extra ticket (1 or 2) I would be forever in your debt.

The show at 'Drew's House' in Ringwood, NJ was amazing last night. It was a house show, so literally in Drew's living room. Couldn't have been more than 100 people there, if that, and it was packed. The new stuff comes across much better to me live. He played a few newer songs that were as good or better as whats on the album (Jerimiahs Blues, Paul & Billy (i think).

Tonight in Boston was awesome. The highlight for me may have been one of the new songs, "Dudes from St. Paul".

Several people have asked me offline about a pre-game meet-up before the DC show. I sadly am double-booked that night and will be showing up just in time for craig's set most likely. But I have a multitude of recommendations. If you just want a quick drink and some tolerable pubfare, the rockandrollhotel bar itself has mostly tolerable pubfare and is easy! and has a lovely roofdeck if the weather is nice. i have pointed several people to sticky rice dc nearby for sushi, pan asian fare, and tater tots. If there does end up being a big group of people, biergarten haus (a german-style biergarten) can accomodate big groups pretty easily. my personal favorite nearby food option is dangerously delicious pies. nomnom. pie.

I was able to buy tickets to the early show this morning - just click the button that says sold out and continue.

Saw the Maxwell's show last night which was good as expected.

He played a new song that I'm pretty sure was titled "Save Me Jesus" that I don't recall anyone mentioning here before. It could be Jesus Save Me, the chorus flips the words around a few times. Upbeat song in tempo at least.

Save Me Jesus is a Bobby Charles cover. Maxwell's was a lot of fun - Some Guns is a great backing band, and they really give a kick to some of the more low-key songs on the album (thinking of Balcony in particular). Loved the extended stories and banter between songs. Pretty sure I saw Tad hanging out in the back; someone said they spotted Bobby too. Highly recommend catching a show on this tour if you can, even if you don't love CHFE.

1. No Future
2. When No One's Watching
3. Some Guns
4. Jackson
5. Once You Roll Over
6. Apollo Bay
7. Balcony
8. Terrified Eyes
9. Sara, I'm Surrounded
10. Jeremiah's Blues
11. Dudes From St. Paul
12. Going To A Show
13. New Friend Jesus
14. Western Pier
15. Honolulu Blues
16. Rented Room
17. Save Me Jesus
18. Not Much Left of Us

That show killed. Seriously good. (Despite a complete lack of chips ahoy. I considered calling for it, but rawkguitars threatened to deny me three times before the cock crowed or something.)

Seen Bruce 100+ times. The show aint changing that much except MORE people on stage and I think there should be less. I never saw Craig solo. Life is about NEW experiences.

I hear ya. I'm 70+ myself. I guess I have high hopes about the tour because I love "Wrecking Ball." But, like I said, I loved Craig's LA show. Enjoy.
